Natalia Conte
is a poet, editor, and educator from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is a recent graduate of the MFA program at NC State University where she worked with poets Eduardo C. Corral and Dorianne Laux on a full poetic thesis and received an Honorable Mention in the NC State Poetry Contest judged by Ina Cariño and Kayleb Rae Candrilli. Prior to her time at NC State, she received a BA in English from Elon University where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of Colonnades, an award-winning literary journal. Outside of her education experience, she has served as a poetic intern at Copper Canyon Press, and read for Narrative Magazine as an assistant poetry editor. Her work can be found in The Los Angeles Review, The Greensboro Review, SWWIM Everyday, and The Pedestal among others. She currently lives and writes in New York City with her tiny black cat Zen. She is working on her debut book of poetry.
